EVIL DEAD Director Fede Alvarez Shares New BTS Polaroids & Alternate Ending To Mark Nine-Year Anniversary

This year marks the ninth anniversary of the release of Fede Alvarez's Evil Dead, and the director has taken to Twitter to mark the occasion by sharing a bunch of never-before-seen Polaroid photos from his personal collection.

The snaps provide a fun behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of the horror remake, which many fans rate almost as highly as Sam Raimi's original. We wouldn't go quite that far, but it's certainly a very effective, admirably nasty horror flick.

Alvarez followed up his Tweet by asking his followers if they'd like him to share the alternate ending which sees Mia taken by "The Force" just as Bruce Campbell's Ash was in the original. It's only a few seconds worth of footage, but you can check it out below along with the photos.

Evil Dead Rise is set to debut on HBO Max later this year, but it's not expected to be connected to this movie in any significant way.

I have never seen this remake because of my love for the first two movies, the third is good but nowhere near as good as the first two.

Ash Vs Evil Dead is very good as well.
