Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment is putting Dead Howling on a UK screen before it hits the shelf. The film premieres at Tubi FrightFest Halloween 2026 on Saturday, October 31, then lands on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital on November 2. Two screenings, 10:20 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., at ODEON Luxe West End. Digital stores listed are iTunes, Amazon, Sky, Google, and Rakuten.

John V. Soto directs. Runtime is 1 hour 43 minutes. Kaleidoscope's film page lists it as an Australian production, completed in 2026, produced by Soto and Tom Reeve. The sell and premise of the story is a post-apocalyptic horror with an interesting matchup: zombies against a werewolf, in a wasteland that has already lost the argument about law. The press note credits producers tied to Dog Soldiers and Terrifier 3. Dog Soldiers is the relevant ancestor. Neil Marshall's 2002 film is the British werewolf-squad movie people still quote sometimes when a new one shows up. Terrifier 3 is the other name on the producer line, a recent horror hit with a different kind of monster. Check out the trailer for the film below:

The cast for the film is Joel Jackson (Jungle), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, Dead Silence), Temuera Morrison (The Mandalorian, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom), and Tom Burlinson (The Man From Snowy River, Flesh+Blood). Carter is the man hunting the dead at night, with what the copy calls a tremendous power. Megan and Billy are the siblings he saves. A rumored safe zone is the destination. The next evolution of the undead, and other survivors, are the things in the way.

Carter starts off alone, killing zombies for sport. The siblings give him a job he did not ask for. The "tremendous power" is the werewolf half of the title fight. The press release calls the collision an all-out showdown between the dead and the damned. FrightFest's own lineup note described it as a post-apocalyptic revenger that pits the two monster types against each other. A UK trailer went up around the announcement, with a US date still marked TBD.

Tubi FrightFest Halloween is the 20th edition of the Halloween event, and it has been a two-day programme since 2023. This year runs Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, on both screens at ODEON Luxe West End in Leicester Square. Nine premieres from five countries. Each title screens twice. Passes and single tickets go on sale at noon on Saturday, October 3.

Dead Howling closes Saturday out. The weekend opens with the UK premiere of Freaks Part II, Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein's follow-up to the 2018 mutant film. Marcel Walz's Brute 1986 has a world premiere, a decade on from last year's Brute 1976, with a glam metal band against the Birdy clan. Other world premieres include J.P. Davidson's The Cull and Sean Hogan's The Dark Gets In. Saturday's penultimate slot is a London preview of Ángel Gómez Hernández's Crawlers, with Matilda Lutz locked in an apartment block full of spiders. Then Soto's film. FrightFest co-director Greg Day called the Halloween event an unmissable highlight for genre fans and said this year's selection was built for the weekend.

November 2 is two days later, which is a short gap between a festival screen and a home release. The Odeon slots are the theatrical window Kaleidoscope is offering in the UK. After that it is a disc and a digital file. A US date has not been set in the trailer notes.
