Netflix's Stranger Things has become one of the biggest shows (streaming or otherwise) of the past few years, and after four seasons of fantastical - often pretty creepy - adventures in the Upside-down, the series will soon conclude with its fifth and final season (no premiere date has been set).
Though the show boasts a strong ensemble cast, psychic teen Eleven was always positioned as the principal protagonist, with star Millie Bonny Brown at the forefront of each season's main storylines.
During a recent interview (conducted before the strikes), Brown was asked for her thoughts on the show finishing up, and while she feels it's a "bittersweet" send-off, she believes she's "ready" for Stranger Things to end so she can move on to other projects.
"I think I'm ready," Brown tells Women's Wear Daily. "It's been such a huge factor in part of my life but it's like graduating high school, it's like senior year. You're ready to go and blossom and flourish and you're grateful for the time you've had, but it's time to create your own message and live your own life."
In the season 4 finale, Eleven managed to defeat the evil entity known as Vecna, but at great cost. It was only a temporary victory, however, as the concluding moments of the episode confirmed that dark forces in the Upside-down are amassing for what will almost certainly be a massive final battle.
