After being hounded by an invisible, sexually transmitted demon in It Follows, Maika Monroe finds herself being stalked by another shadowy force in Chloe Okuno's (V/H/S/94) Watcher.
The movie had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, and IFC Midnight has now released a trailer, giving us a first glimpse of some footage from what's been described as a terrifying paranoid thriller.
Monroe stars as a young woman who moves into a new apartment with her fiancé (Karl Glusman), and comes to feel she's being watched by someone in the adjacent building. Is the mysterious individual stalking her, or is something else going on? We're sure this one has at least one twist in its tale, but the trailer does make it clear that someone is up to no good!
Watcher also stars Burn Gorman and Ciubuciu Bogdan Alexandru. Zack Ford wrote the script, and producers include Roy Lee, Steven Schneider, Derek Dauchy, John Finemore, Aaron Kaplan, Mason Novick. The movie is set for release on June 3.
