The Last Deal is an incredibly original "high-stakes" flick about an independent marijuana dealer who goes broke due to dispensaries opening, and is forced to do something risky - make one last deal; unfortunately he chooses the wrong people to borrow money from. The film is touted as being a mix of Heat and Savages starts off focused on marijuana but quickly makes a turn into a man out of his depth and dealing with the wrong people.
Lord of the Rings fans will love this as it stars Sala Baker, who played Sauron in the beloved franchise. Besides that, it won both the Best Director award at the Boston Film Festival and the Jury Prize at the San Antonio Film Festival, bearing great things for The Last Deal.

The latter we had the opportunity to conduct an exclusive interview with, and we've included it alongside some of the transcript to give you an idea of the conversation before checking out the video.
Literary Joe: When did you first get involved with The Last Deal and did you have any involvement outside of acting?
Conner Floyd: I did audition for this a while back when they sent out the castings, but I originally auditioned for a different role. And a couple weeks later, he called me and said 'Look man, we changed things up, but I still have a little role for you, you're going to be going back and forth with Anthony, the lead. And I was like Hell yeah, I'd heard of Anthony, he's been in a lot of big things. So that was all of my involvement.
I got a little bit of the script when I first auditioned, and when they did the call back I got a lot more information, and then once I got on set I knew everything that was going on. It's everything you want in a big film like this. I really like the director, Jonathan, so since he had some work for me, I was completely on board. John kind of let us improv the whole thing and kid around with Anthony. It's loosely based on a true story, I don't know, it might be him. He might be a drug dealer low key. (Laughs)
