Warner Bros. has released thirteen new character posters for Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, giving audiences their first glimpse of the film’s diabolical heroes and villains. Although story details remain largely under wraps, it has been confirmed that Michael B. Jordan will find himself battling vampires, including his newly turned twin brother. This high-stakes confrontation unfolds as he and a small group of survivors fight to stay alive until sunrise.
When asked about his upcoming project, Coogler offered a hint at what to expect: “Sinners is definitely something different. It’s fluid in its genre. Yes, there are vampires, but the film is about far more than that—it’s just one of many pieces. I think people are going to be surprised by it.”
Michael B. Jordan (Creed; Black Panther) leads the film in a dual role, portraying both Smoke and Stack. The supporting ensemble features Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee; Hawkeye) as Mary, Wunmi Mosaku (Loki; Lovecraft Country) as Annie, Miles Caton (BMF; Swagger) as Sammie, Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods; The Harder They Fall) as Delta Slim, Jack O’Connell (Unbroken; ’71) as Remmick, Omar Miller (8 Mile; Ballers) as Cornbread, Li Jun Li (Babylon; Wu Assassins) as Grace Chow, Yao (The Sandman; Doctor Strange) as Bo Chow, Jayme Lawson (The Batman; Till) as Pearline, Lola Kirke (Mozart in the Jungle; Gone Girl) as Joan, and Peter Dreimanis (Let Me Make You a Martyr; July Talk: Love Lives Here) as Bert.
Sinners hits theaters on April 18!
