Those worried that notoriously extreme director Rob Zombie taking the helm of The Munsters movie might result in a less than family-friendly affair can rest in peace easy, as the project has been officially rated PG.

According to Film Ratings.com, The Munsters has earned a Parental Guidance rating for "Macabre and suggestive material, scary images and language."

Jeff Daniel Phillips will play Herman Munster, with Sheri Moon Zombie on board as Lily Munster and Daniel Roebuck co-starring as Grandpa Munster. Richard Brake is playing Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang, Catherine Schell is playing Zoya Krupp the gypsy queen, and Jorge Garcia will portray a new character named Floop, who is described as “Dr. Wolfgang’s hunchback assistant and Herman Munster’s best buddy.”

The movie will be released by Universal Home Entertainment, and there's a lot of speculation that it'll be a Peacock exclusive. This has yet to be confirmed, but all episodes of the classic '60s series are currently available to watch on the streaming service.
