Jordan Peele fans have been anxiously awaiting a first look at the Get Out director's next project, and we finally have a few snippets of footage from his mysterious new horror flick, Nope.
This teaser really doesn't give us much to go on, but we do get a glimpse of the main characters played by Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out), Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) and Keke Palmer (Hustlers) staring up at the sky with shocked/terrified expressions on their faces.
Could this suggest that aliens will be involved, perhaps? The full trailer is set to debut this Sunday during the Super Bowl, so we should have a much better idea of what to expect after watching it.
Peele wrote the script for his next "horror event" film and will also produce alongside Ian Cooper under his Monkeypaw Productions banner. Sara Scott and Tony Ducret will oversee the project, which is currently set for release on July 22, 2022.
There are rumors going around that the movie will be a part of Universal's rebooted "Monster Universe," but that's yet to be confirmed.
