If you're in the market for something along the lines of The Lost Boys meets Shaun of the Dead meets Adam and Paul, Dark Sky Films has you covered with new Irish horror comedy Let The Wrong One In.
Written and directed by Conor McMahon (Dead Meat, The Disturbed, Stitches), this insane-looking indie venture follows two brothers named Matt and Deco from Dublin who set out on a mission to ride the city of vampires when the latter becomes a blood-sucker himself.
The lads get some help in the form of a vampire hunter (played by Anthony Head in a nice Buffy call-back), who just so happens to be the fiancé of the undead bride who bit Deco at her wedding.
Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think... ye bleedin' dope ye.
"When Matt’s estranged older brother Deco turns up at his flat looking terrible one morning, Matt figures he's just on another typical loser bender. But Deco's symptoms turn out to be more than a wicked hangover, and his newly grown fangs leave little doubt he's fallen victim to a group of vampires terrorising Dublin, posing as a group of hard-partying bachelorettes out on the prowl. As a brand-new vampire, Deco needs his brother's help to survive… but he also wants to suck his blood too…"
Let The Wrong One In had its premiere at Fantastic Fest, Screamfest and Sitges last year, and is set to screen at the Glasgow FrightFest this weekend. No official release dates have been announced.
