British crime/revenge thriller Bull has been garnering a lot of positive attention since its premiere during last year's Fantasia Festival, and with the movie set for theatrical release on April 1 (it arrives on Digital a few days later), the intense first trailer is now online.

Written and directed by Paul Andrew Williams, Bull stars Kill List's Neil Maskell as “a vicious mob enforcer seeking revenge on the gang that double-crossed him. Ten years after he was last seen, Bull returns home to methodically track down those who betrayed him and find his beloved son. Bull stalks his former gang, leading up to a savage showdown between his wife and her mob boss father.”

This looks to be a pretty standard Brit revenge flick in the same vein as Get Carter and Dead Man's Shoes, but Maskell seems to be giving a typically vicious performance, and while the trailer refrains from showing anything too extreme, this Bull is clearly going to do a lot of damage when he's unleashed.

Check out the trailer and poster below, and let us know what you think in the comments.

Bull also stars David Hayman and Tamzin Outhwaite. Saban Films will release the film in theaters on April 1st and On Demand and Digital on April 5th.
