We were promised a first look at some footage from Bodies Bodies Bodies today following yesterday's unsettling poster, and A24 has now released the teaser trailer for Dutch actress/director Halina Reijn's (Instinct) English language debut.

The movie follows a group of wealthy 20-somethings who plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion and decide to play a murder in the dark-style game. When people start being killed for real, the survivors are left to figure out which one of them is a bloodthirsty murderer.

Honestly, this looks like pretty generic fare - especially for an A24 release - but the film was very well-received (it currently sits at 93% on Rotten Tomatoes) when it premiered at SXSW last year, and, at the very least, it should be fun to watch a bunch of annoying assholes get picked-off in what we assume will be various creative ways.

Check out the trailer for yourselves below, and let us know what you think.

Bodies Bodies Bodies stars Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Pete Davidson, Rachel Sennott, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, and Lee Pace, and is set to hit theaters on Auguest 5.

Looks very schlocky, but also pretty well made. Weird fit for A24, but it's nice to seem them branch out to other types of film. Not everything needs to be high-brow cinema.
