Lorcan Finnegan's (Without Name, Vivarium) latest psychological horror film, Nocebo, is set to premiere at the 2022 Sitges Film Festival next week, and the first trailer has now been released online.
The intense teaser focuses on a fashion designer played by Eva Green, who is struggling to cope after being struck with a mysterious illness. When a caretaker named Diana (Chai Fonacier) knocks on her door and begins to use traditional Filipino folk remedies to treat this malady, her husband (Mark Strong) begins to suspect that Diana's may have sinister intensions, and is attempting to keep his wife and daughter under her control.
We have no idea what's actually going on here, but there are some striking shots towards the end of this teaser that do hint at supernatural forces at work.
