WEDNESDAY First-Look Images Debut Catherine Zeta Jones As Morticia & Luis Guzmán As Gomez

Following our first look at Jenna Ortega as the titular Wednesday during Netflix's Geeked Week, some new promo stills for the upcoming series unveil the other members of The Addams Family!

We got our first glimpse of Scream star Jenna Ortega as Wednesday during Geeked Week earlier this year, and Vanity Fair has now debuted our first look at the rest of The Addams family as they'll appear in Tim Burton's upcoming Netflix spin-off show.

The promo stills feature Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsly. Of course, one iconic character is conspicuous by their absence.

“We have no comment on Uncle Fester," says co-showrunner Al Gough. “Just watch the show.”

We recently learned that Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday Addams in the '90s Addams Family movie and its sequel Addams Family Values, had been cast in an undisclosed role. She joins Game of Thrones alum Gwendoline Christie as Larissa Weems, the principal of Wednesday's school.

The coming-of-age comedy series, which has Al Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville, Into the Badlands) on board as showrunners, is said to be "a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore."

Burton will make his TV directing debut with the show, and will also executive produce alongside Jonathan Glickman, Andrew Mittman, Kayla Alpert, Gail Berman, Steve Stark, and Kevin Miserocchi. Production is currently underway, but no premiere date has been announced.
