Interview With the Vampire is coming to AMC (you can check out the trailer here), but the network is also adapting the late Anne Rice's other series of popular novels, The Lives of the Mayfair Witches, and the first official promo stills (via The Wrap) have now been released.
The images give us a first glimpse of Alexandra Daddario (Baywatch, True Detective) as protagonist Rowan Mayfair, a neurosurgeon who has made peace with her occult heritage, but soon learns that there's so much more to her family history when she discovers that the Mayfairs have been plagued by Lasher for centuries.
We also get a first look at Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire, The Irishman) as the demonic entity known as Lasher, a powerful shape-shifter who has been bound to the Mayfair witches for hundreds of years.
The photos also feature Tongayi Chirisa as Ciprien Grieve and Harry Hamlin as Cortland Mayfair.
Check out the stills at the link below.
Esta Spalding (Masters of Sex, On Becoming a God in Central Florida) and Michelle Ashford (Masters of Sex, The Pacific) are both on board as executive producers and writers, while Spalding will also serve as showrunner.
The Lives of the Mayfair Witches hasn't been given an official premiere date, but it is expected to air early next year.
