The fourth season of Stranger Things is set to premiere later this year, and Netflix has now shared a series of new posters spotlighting the foreboding locations we'll be visiting over the course of the season.

The first takes us to Russia, where Jim Hopper - who appeared to be killed off in the season 3 finale - is being held prisoner. The rest of the main characters will be split into groups, with some venturing into the creepy, almost certainly haunted Creel House, and others investigating their new surroundings in California.

Plus, it looks like we'll be returning (possibly via flashback) to the sinister lab where Eleven was experimented on.

UPDATE: Netflix has announced that Stranger Things season 4 will be split into two parts. Vol. 1 premieres 27 May, 2022, and Volume 2 premieres 1 July. The show has also been renewed for a fifth - and final - season!

New cast additions for season 4 include A Nightmare on Elm Street legend Robert Englund, Jamie Campbell Bower (the Twilight films), Eduardo Franco (American Vandal), Joseph Quinn (Howard’s End), Sherman Augustus (Into the Badlands), Mason Dye (Bosch), Nikola Djuricko (Legends) and Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones).

Interesting choice to release it in 2 parts and not even 2 months apart. It won't be the same without Billy.
