Pluto TV, the Paramount operated, free ad-supported video streaming service, has launched a new channel this week dedicated to The Walking Dead franchise. The channel, officially titled The Walking Dead Universe, will feature the first ten seasons of The Walking Dead as well as the first four seasons of its spinoff series Fear the Walking Dead.

In total, that's 153 episodes of The Walking Dead and 53 episodes of Fear the Walking Dead. The channel will also feature episodes from companion series such as Talking Dead, TWDU Extra, Ride with Norman Reedus, Bottomless Brunch at Colman’s as well as The Walking Dead: Generation Dead Fan Documentary.

The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic series based on the comic book of the same name by Robert Kirkman. It focuses primarily on Rick Grimes, a sheriff's deputy who awakes from a coma to discover the world has been overrun by "walkers." Of course, anyone familiar with the comics and television series knows there's many more surprising and heartbreaking twists and turns.

The show premiered on AMC on October 31, 2010 and massive cultural phenomenon. It's now in its 11th and final season which is slated to wrap up November 20, 2022. The Walking Dead Universe channel provides viewers a chance to experience this popular series almost in its entirety.

Fear the Walking Dead is a companion series also based on Kirkman's comic book universe. Although it started off as a prequel showing the start of the zombie apocalypse, later seasons run concurrently with the original show. Fear the Walking Dead currently consists of seven seasons (101 episodes) and has been renewed for an eighth.

Once you sink your teeth into the actual shows, you can catch the companion series like Talking Dead. This is an aftershow that discusses episodes from The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead with cast and crew and celebrity guest fans. There's also Ride with Norman Reedus, which isn't a zombie show at all, but rather follows Walking Dead series star Norman Reedus as he travels across a different destination on a motorcycle while exploring the city's biker culture.

With it being October and all, Pluto TV's newly launched Walking Dead channel should provide plenty of gore and zombie-horror for spooky season.

And if that's not enough scares for you, the streaming service also recently kicked off its 31 Nights of Horror programming. On Pluto TV's Horror channel you can catch various horror flicks such as The Blair Witch Project, Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows, Life, Evil Dead, The Grudge, Urban Legend 1-3, Oculus, 30 Days of Night, Idle Hands, The Woman in Black, Slice, The Lazarus Effect and more.
