INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE Trailer Teases What's To Come In The Rest Of The Season

Following the show's two-episode premiere, AMC has debuted a new trailer for Interview With The Vampire, giving viewers an idea of what to expect from the rest of the season...

Interview With The Vampire had its two-episode premiere over the weekend, and AMC's adaptation got off to a very strong start with a fresh, funny, sexy and hugely compelling take on the late Anne Rice's classic novel.

Now, the network has debuted a new trailer teasing what's to come during the rest of the season.

The new footage spotlights Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) as he struggles to maintain some shred of humanity after being bestowed with Lestat de Lioncourt's (Sam Reid) "dark gift." We are also introduced to an older take on Claudia (Bailey Bass), who will (presumably) make her presence felt in episode 3.

Check out the trailer below, and let us know if you enjoyed the season premiere of Interview With The Vampire in the comments.

“A sensuous, contemporary reinvention of Anne Rice’s revolutionary gothic novel, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire follows Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and Claudia’s (Bailey Bass) epic story of love, blood, and the perils of immortality, as told to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). Chafing at the limitations of life as a Black man in 1900s New Orleans, Louis finds it impossible to resist the rakish Lestat de Lioncourt’s offer of the ultimate escape: joining him as his vampire companion. “But Louis’s intoxicating new powers come with a violent price, and the introduction of Lestat’s newest fledgling, the child vampire Claudia, soon sets them on a decades-long path of revenge and atonement.”

The eight-episode first season debuted on October 2. Rolin Jones is on board as writer, executive producer, and showrunner, while Mark Johnson will executive produce along with Christopher Rice. Alan Taylor will direct the first two episodes.

Neil Jordan helmed the 1994 feature adaptation of Interview With The Vampire, which starred Brad Pitt as Louis, Tom Cruise as Lestat, and Christian Slater as Malloy.
