Chucky season 2 is now shooting, and is expected to premiere on USA and SyFy later this year. Now, creator Don Mancini has taken to Twitter to confirm that Fiona Dourif will be back as Nica... or what's left of her, at least.
Nica Pierce did not have a very easy time of things during the first season, and Tiffany ultimately decided to amputate the long-suffering Chucky vessel's arms and legs in order to keep her from escaping.
It seemed like Nica's tale may have come to a harrowing end, but Mancini has previously promised that fans of the character will "be really gratified when they see what lies in store for Nica."
One cast member who seems very excited about Nica's return is Jennifer Tilly (Tiffany), who shared the following photo in response to the news.
“After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.”
