The first trailer for Sony Pictures and Iris K. Shim's Umma is now online, and after watching this, you may want to think twice before you talk back to your mam!
Produced by Sam Raimi, the movie stars Killing Eve's Sandra Oh as a woman named Amanda who lives a secluded life on a farm with her daughter (Fivel Stewart). When an urn containing the ashes of her estranged mother arrives from Korea, terrifying occurrences lead her to believe that her "Umma" must be haunting her from beyond the grave.
There's probably a twist in the tale, of course, and the teaser gives us a glimpse of a rather creepy-looking fox (most likely a malevolent Korean spirit known as a Kumiho) which could be responsible for tricking Amanda.
Check out the trailer below along with a poster, and let us know if you plan on giving this a watch.
Umma is set for release on March 18, and also stars Dermot Mulroney, Odeya Rush, MeeWha Alana Lee and Tom Yi.
