We finally got a first look at some footage from Rob Zombie's upcoming feature adaptation of classic TV series The Munsters last week via a brief teaser trailer, and the filmmaker has now shared new, full-color stills of his three leads.
The official images feature individual shots of Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa Munster, and a group shot of all three alongside Zombie.
The Munsters has earned a Parental Guidance rating for "Macabre and suggestive material, scary images and language."
The cast also includes Richard Brake as Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang, Catherine Schell as Zoya Krupp the gypsy queen, Cassandra "Elvira" Peterson as Barbara Carr, and Jorge as a new character named Floop, who is described as “Dr. Wolfgang’s hunchback assistant and Herman Munster’s best buddy.”
The movie will be released by Universal Home Entertainment, and there's a lot of speculation that it'll be a Peacock exclusive. This has yet to be confirmed, but all episodes of the classic '60s series are currently available to watch on the streaming service.
