THE CURSED: First Clip From Sean Ellis' Werewolf Movie Is Pure Nightmare Fuel

The first full clip from Sean Ellis' The Cursed (formerly known as Eight for Silver) is now online, and it finds Logan actor Boyd Holbrook performing a gruesome autopsy on a werewolf.

LD Entertainment’s The Cursed is set to howl into theaters on February 18, and thanks to Bloody Disgusting, we have a look at the first clip from writer/director Sean Ellis' highly-anticipated werewolf movie.

We are dropped right into a rather extreme and grizzly situation here, as Boyd Holbrook (Logan, The Predator) prepares to perform an autopsy on what appears to be a dead lycanthrope. He cuts the creature open, and a fully formed woman emerges.

Saul, you'd best pull that damn trigger!

I haven't seen The Cursed, which was formerly known as Eight for Silver, yet, so have no real context for what's going on in this clip, but this looks like a pretty gnarly sequence with some impressive practical effects.

The synopsis tells us that, “In the late 1800s, a man arrives in a remote country village to investigate an attack by a wild animal but discovers a much deeper and sinister force that has the manor and its townspeople in its grip.”
