Sony Pictures has released a new red band trailer for upcoming horror comedy Studio 666, and this latest teaser for the movie is utterly insane!
Introduced by Dave Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters, this footage highlights some of the movie's OTT gore and blood-soaked practical FX, as the band's lead singer becomes possessed by a demonic entity and sets about dispatching the other characters in a variety of hilariously gruesome ways.
Seriously, Leatherface has nothing on Grohl's chainsaw game!
I'll be seeing Studio 666 next week, so be sure to check back for our review closer to its release on February 25. For now, take a look at the new trailer and let us know what you think.
In Studio 666, the legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.
Written by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes and based on a story by Grohl, the rest of the cast includes Taylor Hawkins, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, Leslie Grossman, and Jeff Garlin.
