"Tonight we are running a game! Our game, I admit, is a rather unusual on, but I can assure you that it will be far more entertaining than anyhing you have ever been a part of!"
The first teaser for an upcoming slasher movie called Stream from Fuzz on the Lens Productions and actor/director Michael Leavy has been released online, and it boasts a very impressive cast of horror icons, including Tony Todd (Candyman), Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator), Danielle Harris (Halloween 4), and Dee Wallace (The Howling).
The production values don't look that great, but the movie does feature special effects from Terrifier's Damien Leone, so at the very least, we should be in for plenty of gruesome carnage.
The story (such as it is) follows a group of people who gather together at a hotel under the assumption that they'll be competing in some sort of game, only to realize that they are to be picked off one-by-one by a masked killer as their deaths are live-streamed by Combs' demented games master.
Check out the trailer below along with a poster, behind-the-scenes cast photos, a gnarly FX test video, and some sound bites from Leone, and let us know if you plan on giving Stream a go in the comments section.
"When Roy and Elaine Keenan realize their family is drifting apart, they decide that something needs to be done. Roy forces his work to take a back seat and they seize the opportunity to recreate a vacation from their past. A peaceful stay in a quaint hotel is just what they need, however, that is not what is in store for them. With four deranged murderers patrolling the seemingly mundane halls, the odds are definitely not in the Keenan family's favor. Roy must fight for his life and those of his family as their simple weekend getaway truly turns into a vacation to die for!"
Stream also stars Tim Reid, Mark Holton, Felissa Rose, Daniel Roebuck, Dave Sheridan, Terry Alexander, David Howard Thornton, Charles Edwin Powell, Bob Adrian, Sydney Malakeh, Wesley Holloway, Damian Maffei, and Michael Leavy.
No official release date has been announced, but you can keep an eye on the movie's website for updates.
