Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group have debuted a new trailer for Scream VI, and this latest teaser gives us a much better idea of what to expect from this sixth instalment in the long-running horror franchise.
The trailer begins with a tense scene, as Ghostface follows sisters Sam and Tara into a store and proceeds to dispatch anyone standing in his (or her?) way. From there, Gale Weathers and Kirby Reed join the party, and we find out that this new incarnation of the masked killer has built himself a little shrine to the past.
Ghostface makes it very clear that he's "something different," but what does that mean, exactly? At one point, we see Gale empty her gun through a screen he's standing right behind, only for the murderer to emerge unscathed - could they be teasing some sort of supernatural twist here?
Have a look at the trailer for yourselves, and let us know what you think.
Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera ("Sam Carpenter"), Jasmin Savoy Brown ("Mindy Meeks-Martin"), Mason Gooding ("Chad Meeks-Martin"), Jenna Ortega ("Tara Carpenter"), Hayden Panettiere ("Kirby Reed"), and Courtney Cox ("Gale Weathers") return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra and Samara Weaving.
