MY BEST FRIEND'S EXORCISM Trailer Takes Us Back To The '80s For A Fun-Filled Fright-Fest

Prime Video has released the first trailer for its upcoming adaptation of best-selling novel My Best Friend's Exorcism, which stars Elsie Fisher and Amiah Miller as two pals with a devil of a problem.

Prime Video has debuted the first trailer for My Best Friend's Exorcism, which is set to premiere on the streamer on September 30.

Based on Grady Hendrix's best-selling 2016 novel of the same name, the comedy horror stars Elsie Fisher (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Eighth Grade) and Amiah Miller as best pals Abby and Gretchen, respectively, who find themselves with a devil of a problem when the latter is possessed by a demonic force.

"The film focuses on Abby and Gretchen, who are best friends, and on a night at a friend's parents' cabin, they go off for a walk, they end up in a strange building in the woods," director Damon Thomas tells EW. "Something bad happens and Gretchen from then on starts to act strangely."

Abby is informed that he friend my require an exorcism by an evangelical Christian wrestler played by GLOW's Christopher Lowell, and the pair begin to gather up the necessary blessed items to perform the ritual.
