Following a few cryptic teasers, A24 has finally debuted the first trailer for Alex Garland's Men.

Though this footage doesn't fully explain the premise of the Annihilation director's new horror film, it does feature some striking - not to mention very creepy - footage, as Irish actress Jessie Buckley (who was just nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in The Lost Daughter) is haunted by ghostly apparitions in the countryside.

The synopsis tells us that Buckley plays a young woman named Harper who "goes on a solo vacation to the English countryside after the death of her ex-husband." Is the spirit of her ex pursuing her, or something far more sinister?

Have a look at the trailer below along with a new poster, and let us know what you think.

Men also stars Rory Kinnear and Paapa Essiedu. No official release date has been announced.

It looks interesting, a bit too vague to form any firm opinions. Anyone else see an angry face in the poster (made from the forest and it's reflection)?
