We are very sad to report that Ray Liotta has passed away at the age of 67.
The intense, charismatic actor rose to fame thanks to his breakout role as Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas, but he's since become known for a wide variety of performances in the likes of Copland, Something Wild, Smokin' Aces, Narc, Marriage Story, and many more.
Liotta mostly starred in dramas/thrillers, but he did dabble in horror/sci-fi on occasion, making a memorable appearance in Hannibal and the underrated No Escape.
Reports indicate that the actor died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic (we're still waiting on updates), where he was shooting his next film, Dangerous Waters. Liotta leaves behind a daughter, Karsen, and was engaged to be married to Jacy Nittolo at the time of his death.
Our thoughts go out to Liotta's friends and family during this difficult time.
If you're planning to honor the great man by revisiting one of his movies, let us know what you'll be watching in the comments.
