Halloween Ends is set to slice its way into theaters this October, and fans have been anxiously awaiting a look at some footage from David Gordon Green's trilogy-capper since the CinemaCon teaser received such a positive reaction after the highly divisive Halloween Kills.
Now, star Jamie Lee Curtis has taken to Twitter to announce that the first trailer will be online on July 20.
Test screenings for the movie were reportedly held earlier this week, and potential spoilers have found their way online. Because we can't be certain what's bogus and what's accurate, we won't be sharing them here, but we do have one very interesting plot details from a reliable source.
According to scooper Viewer Anon, a new character named Corey will be introduced in the film, and will actually have a more substantial role than both Laurie Strode (Curtis) and her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak). Played by The Hardy Boys actor Rohan Camplell, this mysterious young man is said to be "the glue holding the movie together."
We don't have much more to go on, but there's already a lot of speculation that Corey could turn out to be Michael Myers' son. That would be one way to continue the franchise without "The Shape," but we're not sure we're buying it.
What do you guys think? Any idea how Corey might factor into the story? Drop us a comment down below.
