This October, Halloween Ends.
The first footage from David Gordon Green's trilogy-topper screened during last night's CinemaCon presentation, and the reactions seem to be mostly very positive coming off the highly divisive Halloween Kills.
Described as "brutal, bloody" and "legitimately terrifying," the teaser trailer begins with a recap of the previous films, before culminating with Laurie Strode and Michael Myers coming face-to-face for what will almost certainly be the final time. We see Myers fling Strode across the room, but she is ultimately able to gain the advantage, stabbing the relentless maniac through the hand before holding the knife to his head.
Something tells us this won't be the end of "The Shape," but whatever happens, Laurie will not go down without doing everything she can to take her nemesis with her.
"It has been the ride of my life to portray Laurie Strode since 1978," Curtis said while previewing the trailer, adding that "horror lets us confront what we can't control," and that "Laurie's last stand will f*ck you up."
We'll find out how things play out when Halloween Ends slices its way into theatres on October 14.
