Universal recently announced that the third and final(?) chapter in David Gordon Green's trilogy, Halloween Ends, will follow its predecessor's release pattern by opening day-and-day in theaters and on streaming on October 14, and Green has now revealed that he's almost finished the post-production process.
While chatting to Total Film, the director explains that he's currently moving around "the last few scenes of the movie in various orders, and I’ve been playing with music." Green also commented on the threequel's tone, and it sounds like Ends is not going to be quite a relentlessly leak as the divisive Halloween Kills.
"This one is a good time at the movies," he says. "Let’s have a blast, ride the roller coaster with a few unexpected turns, and walk away feeling complete. That’s what I want."
That shouldn't be taken as an indication that we're in for a feel good Halloween movie, of course, which is evident from these new promo stills!
