The cast and crew of this weekend's Fight Nights at Freddy's horror release have taken to the camera in a new featurette titled For The Fans just a few days before the film drops to share some additional information on the flick with those who are looking forward to it. Matthew Lillard (Scream, Scooby Doo), Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games, Ultraman), and more share some insight on what is to come and why fans both new and old will be pleased with the finished project.

Ahead of checking out the featurette for yourself, we have transcribed a few of the quotes from the video for you to read along with the official press release information.

"We wanted to make sure we were doing the fanbase justice in every decision along the way, they were really at the forefront of our minds," opens director and co-writer Emma Tammi. Blumhouse Producer Jason Blum adds, "What sets this movie apart from others is the care taken with the story to create something based on a beloved game."

Lillard notes the immense amount of attention to detail in the process as Hutcherson sets fans at ease by saying "So I think for those hardcore Five Nights at Freddy's fans out there, they can rest assured that we are taking care of their world, taking care of their game, and taking care of these characters."

"We have such an incredible legion of fans out there," Lillard states in the featurette, "and I think one of the exciting things is that we are making this movie for them and I think they're going to really respond to that."

Below is the official press release information and the featurette itself.
