The sixth instalment in the Final Destination franchise, Bloodlines, is set to hit theaters this weekend, and the review embargo has now lifted.
Despite being popular with horror fans who looked forward to seeing what kind of twisted scenarios Death would come up with to dispatch those who managed to cheat the Reaper, the Final Destination movies were never what you'd call critical darlings. Even the 2000 original - which is generally regarded as the best - only has a 40% on Rotten Tomatoes.
With this in mind, it's pretty surprising that Bloodlines is currently sitting at a very impressive 92% on the review aggregator with 45 verdicts counted.
