Rock climber Becky (Shazam!) is emotionally fragile, and she hasdecided to confront her fears despite the fact that she is currently drowning in a sea of grief. This decision comes 51 agonizing weeks after the traumatic event that permanently scarred her. As her friend Hunter (Runaways), who is always looking for an adrenaline rush, makes her way back into Becky's wrecked life, the two experienced climbers embark on a high-risk climbing adventure to the top of the abandoned 2,000-foot B67 TV tower.
The tower is a construction of weather-beaten metal and rattling rivets in the middle of the Mojave desert, and it causes anxiety and vertigo in its climbers. However, when the dangerous ascent does not go according to plan, the women are forced to muster every last ounce of courage and strength in order to devise a plan for a safe return home – or die trying to do so.
Fall has been certified "Fresh" by Rotten Tomatoes with a critic score of 78% and a slightly higher audience score of 79%. It's rated PG-13 for bloody images, intense peril, and strong language. It was originally released in theaters on August 12th, 2022.
The film stars Grace Caroline Currey, Virginia Gardner, Mason Gooding, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. It was directed by Scott Mann and written by Jonathan Frank and Scott Mann.
