BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA Returning To Theaters In 4K This Halloween - Check Out A New Trailer

Bram Stoker's Dracula (well, Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula) still holds up 30 years after its release, and the stylish horror adaptation is returning to theatres in 4K just in time for Halloween.

It may seem hard to believe given how well Francis Ford Coppola's incredible adaptation has held up over the years, but the 30th anniversary of Bram Stoker's Dracula is fast approaching, and the stylish horror film is returning to theaters in 4K for the first time this Halloween.

Starring Gary Oldman as the legendary vampire, Anthony Hopkins as Van Helsing, Winona Ryder as Mina Harker and Keanu Reeves (yeah, he's a bit ropey, but hey) as her beleaguered husband Jonathan, the film took a lavish, often surreal approach to Stoker's novel. Though it remained faithful to the original story in most respects, it altered the relationship between the now more sympathetic count and Mina to make them star-crossed lovers.

Check out a 4K restoration trailer below.

"Count Dracula, a 15th-century prince, is condemned to live off the blood of the living for eternity. Young lawyer Jonathan Harker is sent to Dracula's castle to finalise a land deal, but when the Count sees a photo of Harker's fiancée, Mina, the spitting image of his dead wife, he imprisons him and sets off for London to track her down."

Bram Stoker's Dracula will return to UK cinemas from 7 October, and US cinemas on 23 and 27 October at Fathom Events screenings.

Wonderful!
This is one of my top horror films I watched as a kid, cannot believe it's been 30 years already!

The grandeur, the cinematography, the horror imagery, Gary Oldman's performance, Keanu Reeves' attempt at a British accent!

But the best part of the movie is: Sadie Frost, Monica Belluci and the Dracula Bride actresses getting all naked and sexy! I rewinded that mfer on VHS so many times during that Dracula's Brides scene! 🤣

I actually love this movie. Huge soft spot for it.
Coppola only used effects available in 1931, the date of the original Dracula release with Bela Lugosi, and it really give the film a timeless feel.

Only bad part is Keanu's accent.
