The official trailer for Silent Hill f was shared this wee, giving fans of Konami's psychological horror series a glimpse of the nightmare that awaits.
Silent Hill f will take the fog to 1960s Japan where we protagonist Shimizu Hinako's secluded town of Ebisugaoka is transformed into a haunting nightmare.
"As the town falls silent and the fog thickens, Hinako must navigate the twisted paths of Ebisugaoka, solving complex puzzles and confronting grotesque monsters to survive," the game description teases. Silent Hill f is independent from previous games in the series, with all-new monsthers, but Konami notes there are plenty of Easter Eggs hidden for fans to discover throughout.

Silent Hill f is being developed by NeoBards Entertainment, a studio with experience supporting Resident Evil games, including the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3. The game's story is written by Japanese author Ryukishi07 who best known for creating the acclaimed When They Cry visual novel series.
Silent Hill f is eighth mainline game in the Silent Hill franchise, and the first since 2012's Silent Hill: Downpour. While we still don't have a release date, it is believed to be in development for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. It was revealed alongside several other Silent Hill projects, including the Silent Hill 2 remake as well as Silent Hill: Townfall, the latter which is in devleopment at No Code.
